the hostel was a charm, exceeding our expectations with attention to every detail, cleanliness, and a cozy atmosphere. The location was perfect, near the beach, and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home in Riohacha. We didn't want to leave!

We had a fantastic stay at a hostel with great breakfast options and a delicious dinner for a reasonable price. the shared bathrooms were cleaned daily, and the rooms were comfortable with air conditioning and Netflix. the hostel also had a great rooftop terrace and fast laundry service. the young couple who owned the place were amazing and made everything easy for us. the location was perfect, right next to the beach. And the homemade breakfast, including pancakes, fruits, and jam, was absolutely delicious.

Bona Vida was the perfect starting point for our visit to Cabo de la Vela and Punto Gallínas. The competent staff helped us with everything we needed. The hostel itself, smaller and quieter than others in the area, was well-organized and clean. Its location, just 5 minutes from the beach and main plaza, was ideal. We also loved the free perks, like the use of facilities at the nearby hostel and the free food and drinks in Riohacha with the hostel's wristband. our stay at Bona Vida was one of our best hostel experiences ever.

The dorm has individual reading lights, a small fan, and a socket for phone charging. Breakfast was enjoyable and the staff at reception, particularly Natalia, were very helpful. They can assist with organizing tours to La Guajira.

I had a fabulous stay at this hostel in Riohacha. The friendly staff made me feel welcome and helped me plan my trip to Cabo de la Vela. The location was great, just a short walk from the beach and the main plaza. The hostel was clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the pancakes for breakfast. Even though there were a few minor drawbacks like the lack of AC and the occasional noise from the street, overall I highly recommend this hostel for a great stay in Riohacha.

Pros of my stay at the hostel: mind-blowing location near the beach and restaurants, super friendly and helpful staff, jaw-dropping private room with private bathroom in a separate apartment, clean and spacious with a good shower, clean linen and towels included, amazingly delicious pancake breakfast, highly recommended for solo travelers, great place to meet new people, excellent travel information and tour organization, calm and friendly atmosphere, felt like home!

Wow! This hotel is a hidden gem. The attention to detail is amazing; everything is clean and well thought out. The location is superb, very close to the beach. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home in Colombia.

The bed was not comfortable and there was no hot water. The breakfast service was a bit slow, and the portion sizes for the fruit bowl were quite small.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made me feel right at home. They were always willing to assist me in organizing tours and providing information about the area. The rooms were clean and modern, with comfortable beds and well-functioning showers. I particularly loved the addition of a personal fan and light on the bed, as well as the curtains for privacy. Another advantage was the delicious breakfast, offering a variety of tasty homemade additions.

The pool was murky and not inviting for swimming. Some staff members seemed annoyed when asked for assistance.

The rooftop terrace was a great place to relax, and the fast laundry service was a bonus. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like.
